Carzuma ("we", "us") operates an automotive marketplace at carzuma.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Carzuma website, dealer dashboard, and related services.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you provide. Account email, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), display name, saved vehicles, saved searches, dealer profile details, and inventory feeds emailed to your ingest address.
- Information from vehicles you view. Basic interaction data — listings viewed, compared, or saved — used to power features like your garage and personalized results.
- Technical information. Log data (IP, user agent, referrer, request time), authentication cookies, and error diagnostics.
How we use it
- Operate the marketplace and your account.
- Send you alerts you asked for (saved-search email digests, import status).
- Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Improve our product with aggregate, non-identifying analytics.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build cross-site advertising profiles.
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that host our infrastructure, authentication, and email delivery.
- Law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — subject to this policy.
Retention
We retain account data while your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and operational obligations. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@carzuma.com.
Your rights
